The large well-equipped kitchen is very well presented with all the modern appliances to make your mealtimes very easy. It includes an open plan dining area with floor to ceiling windows giving a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding hills. The living room is lovely and spacious to accommodate everyone, with a log burner to enjoy and relax in front of, along with patio doors leading onto the private garden and a large window that captures those stunning views.
The first of the three bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, comprising of twin beds and en-suite shower room. Enjoy underfloor heating throughout. Upstairs are the two larger bedrooms, with one kingsize bed with floor to ceiling window and en-suite, and a double bedroom with en-suite. Outside there are many options to enjoy the extensive garden and paved patio areas, with outdoor furniture to relax and unwind.
Yr Hen Feudy at Pentre Farm offers off road parking, accommodating enough spaces for all staying. Situated at the end of a gated lane, it is in the perfect location for exploring Wales and Shropshire with numerous places of interest an easy drive away, whilst walks and cycle trails are right on the doorstep. Pistyll Rhaeadr (Waterfall) Llanrhaeadr, one of the Seven wonders of Wales is within a 20-minute drive away, along with Powys castle, Chirk castle, Erddig, Llangollen with white water rafting and horse drawn canal barges.
Don’t forget to visit the welcoming pub in the village, serving food and only a half an hour walk away, and there is also a children’s play area in the village. The historic city of Chester and its zoo is an easy drive away, as is the lovely town of Shrewsbury. With all this on offer, Yr Hen Feudy at Pentre Farm promises an idyllic holiday retreat for all to enjoy.

The cottage was perfect for all our needs as we are aged from 60 to 97 years. It was well equipped, comfortable & spotlessly clean. The downstairs facilities are a must for us. The views from all windows are spectacular. It is off the beaten track so super peaceful & loads of wild life particularly beautiful birds. The hosts Malc & Sara were so welcoming, helpful and respectful to all our needs. We will definitely return, may be in the spring/summer. We all said it was best cottage we had stayed in and all had a great time.

The cottage is set in the most amazing location and its picture windows in the kitchen/diner and lounge make the most of the far reaching views of the Welsh border landscape.You are in a rural setting at the end of a farm lane but not isolated as the owners live next door. They are helpful and friendly, making you welcome but also unobtrusive.The accommodation is comfortable for 6 and having 3 ensuite bedrooms is a real plus.The location is also handy for visiting many places including a few National Trust properties, the Llangollen canal and heritage steam railway and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.Would certainly recommend a stay here.

Yr Hen Feudy is an amazing place. The accommodation is of a very high quality and the surroundings are so beautiful. The owners have created a wonderful holiday home. The bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious, each with their own bathroom. The living room and kitchen are sociable with plenty of seating. There is plenty of local attractions close by, including several National Trust properties and natural wonders. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a holiday.
