This pretty thatched holiday cottage nestles in a secluded location on the edge of the New Forest, with lovely views over field and woodland from the verandah. Adjoining the owner’s home, it serves as a haven for wildlife lovers; countryside walks radiate from the property offering plenty of opportunities for spotting the animals and birds resident in the area. A short drive away are the characterful resorts of Christchurch, Bournemouth and Lymington (departure point for Isle of Wight crossings), for beaches and boating. The Beaulieu Motor Museum is well worth an outing, as is the New Forest, for museum and pony trekking. Shop 1 mile.

Beautiful place, friendly owners. The one drawback is the very short walk from the garage where you have to park to the gate. At night it is VERY dark on this road so we found a mobile phone torch was essential. Obviously in the summer evenings this is not a problem. Generally we highly recommend this place.
