This pretty thatched holiday cottage nestles in a secluded location on the edge of the New Forest, with lovely views over field and woodland from the verandah. Adjoining the owner’s home, it serves as a haven for wildlife lovers; countryside walks radiate from the property offering plenty of opportunities for spotting the animals and birds resident in the area. A short drive away are the characterful resorts of Christchurch, Bournemouth and Lymington (departure point for Isle of Wight crossings), for beaches and boating. The Beaulieu Motor Museum is well worth an outing, as is the New Forest, for museum and pony trekking. Shop 1 mile.

Perfect getaway cottage to explore the beautiful New Forest and surrounding areas. Lovely garden to enjoy with an abundance of birds. Little extras such as milk and cereal were a nice surprise and very welcomed.Very clean and beautifully presented inside and out.Only downside we found is that the cottage is attached to the owners home so we could hear them through the walls. The description does state the cottage is adjacent to their property, so my assumption it would be close by their home was wrong, however, this was not the fault of the owners, purely my misunderstanding.
