Saltdean House is contemporary, extremely spacious, and designed to offer wonderful entertaining space in complete luxury. Holidays by the seaside are a delight, and this house is certainly special!

It is clear to see that an interior designer has got his or her hands on Saltdean House. This is not your standard white blank canvas. Bold, vibrant colour is everywhere from statement walls to deluxe rugs and other soft furnishings and vivid artwork. This house is stunning. The main living space is open plan with warm oak flooring, an outstanding gourmet kitchen offering every appliance you could wish for, huge leather sofas and a wall of glass to the fantastic outside space. The sleek charcoal kitchen meets orange walls and leads to the dining area with more pretty garden views. In turquoise and orange, the second living space is perfect for guests wanting to chill, watching the massive television or play games.

Outside you can grab a recliner on the terrace and relax while the sun shines. All around, palms and bamboo sway in the breeze and catch your eye. There is a top-of-the-range barbecue for alfresco dining, and the magnificent hot tub is sure to be a hit. This glorious sun trap of a garden again has the designer element and is totally luxurious. State-of-the-art beach bikes are provided so that you can pop down to the beach or enjoy a ride into Brighton.

There are four stunning bedrooms to choose from. The master offers a kingsize bed. There is one room with a double bed and a single, and otherwise, the zip-link beds are convertible to kings make the rooms easily adaptable to family or friends sleeping arrangements. One of the bedrooms and a shower room are on the ground floor. Upstairs there is one ensuite shower room and a family bathroom. As expected, the bathrooms are contemporary, glossy and decked with luxury White Company toiletries.

Saltdean House is situated very close to the beach in Saltdean, just down the road from the quirky magnificence of Brighton and Hove. In fact, you can enjoy fabulous Saltdean sea views from the furnished balcony! Saltdean boasts a pretty pebble and shingle beach and a famous outdoor lido, sure to be a hit with families. You can swim there from 7am to 7pm every day. There is a delightful cafe overlooking the beach.

Five miles away is Brighton’s busy promenade, its iconic pier, the charming lanes and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Londoners have been traveling to Brighton since the railway arrived in 1841 and it has remained popular ever since. Brighton’s Royal Pavilion, the work of the architect John Nash, was built in three stages as a seaside retreat for King George IV. Queen Victoria decided that Osborne House should be the royal seaside retreat and it was sold to the city of Brighton in 1950. It offers iconic domes and minarets. The Lanes are brimming with a eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. The Lanes are cobbled and narrow with many tables and chairs in the open, giving an warm and happy ambience to visitors.  On the pier, you can grab an ice-cream and stroll around the buzzy vibrant fairground or spend a few pounds in the amusement arcade. The newest attraction in Brighton is British Airways i360, providing spectacular panoramic views of the city, the sea and the countryside. Brighton’s beach is pebbly and lined with cafes and restaurants. You can enjoy Edwardian splendour at Preston Manor and major exhibitions and fine art displays at the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery.

You can take a wonderful stroll along to Hove where you can indulge in some delicious ice-cream and enjoy the fresh air. You can discover the important contribution the area made to the film industry at the Hove Museum. St Ann’s Well Gardens are lovely and Stanmer Park is home to the eco Earthship. Hove’s new plinth on the historic Hove seafront showcases modern day sculpture.

Beyond Brighton and Saltdean, you can enjoy Borde Hill Gardens or explore some excellent vineyards which produce sparkling wine to rival champagne. Borde Hill Gardens in Haywards Heath offers stunning gardens, woodland walks and a spectacular children’s playground. They host events throughout the year.
