The owner met us to show us round and provided some essentials (tea, coffee, milk, bread etc) which was a lovely touch and meant we were able to have a rest and a cuppa after our travels. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There's a lovely big garden, although we didn't get around to going out there. Highly recommended and we're looking forward to coming back next year!

It had everything we needed, and it was in a great location too. We were delighted with the goodies on arrival which was a lovely added touch, and we were made to feel very welcome.

Property was generally very clean and the kitchen very well equipped. Our only issue was that the double bed was rather uncomfortable - the mattress really needs replacing. Excellent location for the South Downs, and only a 5 minute walk to Battle high street for decent restaurants and bars.
