If you like a rural setting this is the place for you. We have been two years running and the peace and quiet is perfect. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to make you welcome and if you are an animal lover, the goats and adorable Labrador will also make you very welcome! There is a lovely pub about a mile from the barn which serves excellent food. The nearest town is Battle, a car ride away, with plenty of choice of shops, coffee shops and eateries. Would definitely recommend the Thai restaurant. Swallow’s Barn is the perfect getaway and the birdsong is just gorgeous.

The Barn is the perfect place to stay if you want peace & quiet with its rural location. We enjoyed a very comfortable week here with plenty of places to visit within a short drive. The Barn is equipped with everything you'll need & the welcome pack proved very useful. We would not hesitate to recommend Swallow's Barn... Cynthia & Chris are lovely hosts & we look forward to staying here again.
