Stayed in the cottage at Winchelsea Lodge which is self catering accommodation attached to the main hotel. On arrival it was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Bed is very comfortable and the showers work well. Staff at the hotel were pleasant and friendly. Some nice views across the surrounding countryside. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. Used the cottage as a base to visit national trust houses in the area and Dover Castle. Would happily stay again if we return to the area.
