Lymington Lodge is a well-regarded property, praised for its beautiful setting and excellent location for walking and exploring the New Forest. Guests appreciate the peaceful environment, cosy wood burner, and the helpfulness of the housekeeper. While some minor maintenance issues and personal decor preferences were noted, the overall sentiment is positive with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Cleanliness

Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.

Location

The location is consistently praised for its beauty, proximity to nature reserves, local pubs, and walking trails. The sea wall walk and easy parking are also appreciated, contributing to the high score.

Comfort

The lodge is described as cosy and perfect for couples, with a very comfortable bed and a warm atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned the sofa being uncomfortable and the lodge potentially being too hot in summer, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities

While the wet room and kitchen are liked, there are several mentions of issues with the wood burner and a lack of kitchen lighting. The absence of a fire alarm or CO monitor is a concern. These maintenance issues affect the score.
