Hampshire's charming village of Cheriton is located halfway between North End and Lane End. The community is now a nature-filled centre for tourists seeking to explore the South Downs National Park. It is known for its historical trails and is located close to the locations of battles from the English Civil War in 1644. The Flower Pots Inn, a classic red-brick pub, and the Brick House Cheriton are two places where you can eat out, while the neighbourhood store and post office are where you can get the necessities. The thriving city of Winchester is close by and is advised as a pit stop for a variety of attractions, such as Winnall Moors Nature Reserve, which offers walks through meadows and along rivers, Winchester City Mill, which is cared for by the National Trust, and the ruins of Winchester Castle, formerly known as the Old Bishop's Palace.

Lots of secure space for our dog. The cottage has everything you need. It’s a real home from home with comfortable rooms, effective underfloor heating, lovely decor and a luxurious bathroom. It’s close to Alresford and Winchester, has excellent local pubs and pleasant walks from the cottage itself. We’ve booked again already.

We stayed here for 6 weeks whilst work was being carried out on our property. Exquisite interior design with comfy beds, luxury bathroom and ample space for relaxing and working.

I get why as it is quite detracting from, what is, a lovely and well appointed cottage. I think it is disingenuous to not give the customer the full information. There were some minor issues with things like the bathroom door not shutting well, the owners very noisy garage door, and the bedroom blind being a bit delicate to work. Otherwise it was a lovely property.
