Surrounded by woodland and coastline, you can enjoy the peace and quiet, and are highly likely to spot one of the islands famous red squirrels, as well as other wildlife from within the grounds. Beautifully presented with a comfortable and stylish interior, boasting contemporary furnishings, this semi-detached property can sleep up to six people and has been purposely designed with families and groups in mind. It offers a spacious super kingsize bedroom (can be twin beds on request) with an en-suite shower room on the ground floor for a comfortable stay for lesser able guests. The property also features a number of modern comforts, such as Smart TV’s in all of the bedrooms, which are connected to a Netflix Premium account, as well as a PlayStation 4 Pro in the living room with a selection of games to enjoy.
The grounds of the property offer fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth and there’s an elevated, private Jacuzzi hot tub for 6, with a covered roof for you to relax in after a busy day discovering the Isle of Wight. From the beach you can spot the landmark Spinnaker Tower, which forms an impressive backdrop to a busy shipping channel that carries an interesting array of freight, passenger and military ships. Guests can enjoy a spot of fishing on the beach, 200 yards away. A short distance away is the seaside town of Ryde with its good selection of individual shops, restaurants, bars, tea rooms and large sandy beach. Along the promenade you will find lots to do with tennis courts, tenpin bowling, a fun fair, canoeing and a swimming pool all available. Within easy reach there is Osborne House, Quarr Abbey, Carisbrooke Castle, Amazon World, Robin Hill Adventure Park and world famous yachting at Cowes. The Isle of Wight is renowned for having a warm, sunny climate, and there are plenty of tourist attractions you can enjoy in the sun. Discover quaint villages, indulge in cream teas, enjoy local produce such as garlic at The Garlic Farm, adventure parks, museums, zoo, donkey sanctuary, wildlife centres, pearl factory, The Needles, traditional pottery, vineyards, steam railway, pretty coves and much more. There are many outdoor pursuits on the island as well including horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, water sports and golf. Clean, light, bright and spacious. Very well maintained and equipped.Property owners made sure we had everything we needed and every detail had been considered. Very welcoming but also discrete.The outside space is also gorgeous and the views are stunning. Location is excellent very quiet and an ideal spot for exploring the island.

We had a great holiday at The Coach House. Highlights included the superb location overlooking the Solent (especially from the hot tub) with red squirrels and buzzards in the garden, and Woodside Beach just a few minutes walk away. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped and we had a very warm welcome from the hosts. Just a couple of negatives - in our view the house needs a bit of TLC in places with gaps around some the older wooden doors and windows, creaky floorboards and the kitchen flooring was lifting through water damage (which the owners acknowledged). Also a few cobwebs around lights and in corners. Biggest issue we had was mosquitos at night which meant we couldn't keep the windows open during the hot summer nights.

Lovely quiet location, great views and hot tub. Spacious and very well equipped. Would definitely go back again. Hosts were also amazing and sorted a small issue with the hot tub the same day, without us noticing.
