The caravan was well equipped and very modern. The site was extremely disappointing. There was no shop in fact the only amenities were a clubhouse and launderette. There was a small outdoor swimming pool which is only open in the summer months. We will definitely not be going back there

The van. Was well maintained ed with all appliances and clean. The site was like being on a graveyard site! So quiet, ridiculously quiet. I Like peace but it was beyond That. No little shop on site, nothing .Most people there are residents living full time. With yappy little dogs barking all day! Shame.

Lodge was very nice four of us staying one dog , a few moans we arrived at the time we could enter the lodge 3.00pm still being cleaned had to wait until 3.45pm . On the veranda only two patio chairs when on the pictures on website supposed to be 4 chairs and table looked in the booklet done by the owners and it had two numbers for the storage boxes outside managed to open one no furniture inside other box number wasn’t correct. When we came back at 9.30 pm after going out for dinner the barrier for the site was down pressed the button no reply next to the barrier is a number for emergencies we phoned it the man who answered was rude and annoyed that I had phoned him and disturbed his Saturday night he said the number was for emergencies only he didn’t think us being locked out of the site was an emergency UNBELIEVABLE??? all he had to do was press a button wherever he was. He said we should of been given a key fob by the owners of lodge to gain entry , when we finally got back to the lodge I phoned the owners up who were unaware of the barrier being put down in the evenings again they were very apologetic they gave me some numbers to try and open the storage box outside but still no joy. Next day when we came back in the afternoon a bottle of wine was waiting for us organised by the owners for the hassle we had indured which was a nice touch . The owner did tell us a way of opening the barrier without having to phone the grumpy barrier police. Overall very nice lodge central to Sandown and Shanklin not far away the site was quite at night apart from the first night when there must been something going on in the Clubhouse, again owners very nice to talk to easy to get hold of phoned us back to see if we had got into the storage boxes , we would recommend wholeheartedly.
