Looking for a holiday that’s got the lot? Lower Hyde not only has two beaches nearby to relax and play on, there’s also stunning countryside in your backyard too. Set on the edge of Shanklin, the park is perfectly situated for exploring the numerous delights the Isle of Wight has to offer.
Nearby you’ll find a choice of vintage resorts like Ventnor and Sandown, countless wildlife parks and many more local attractions to fill your days. The parks neighbours Shanklin is renowned for its expansive beach, sweeping esplanade, Shanklin Chine and family friendly amusements: everything you want in a seaside holiday.
On park, you’ll find plenty of outdoor activities and brilliant facilities including an adventure playground and our fun-filled swimming pools to keep everyone entertained. Plus, at Lower Hyde, you get double the fun as you also have full access to the facilities at our sister park Landguard, meaning there’s plenty to do on park.
Due to gradients and steps Lower Hyde is not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.
Please note, the outdoor pool is open between 24/05/19 - 02/09/19 although is weather dependant

Didn't use the site facilities as only there for 4 nights therefore no markings for that. We did use the indoor pool at the sister site which was very good.Under £200 per unit for four nights (as at Oct 2021) was very good value since this included linen, site passes and heat and light.

Unfortunately our accommodation was very different from that advertised on the website and while it was visibly clean suffered from a sickening smell which we were told would go after a day as it related to the cleaning of the fridge, resembled a urine smell from the corner of the room. However the facilities were good and the use of the pool was refreshing as well. Our stay was also broken short due to an outbreak in the complex which resulted in staff having to self-isolate and the entertainment halted. Overall the experience was good, nice staff with just a couple of bumps along the way.
