On arrival was surprised at the condition of the outer door which just had a latch and a hole in it. Porch had flaking paint which rubbed off on your clothes. The main door just had a bolt lock so security was lacking. On entering the property it was unclean, there were black hairs everywhere, toilet was dirty, the floor was very dirty, carpet full of dust, washing up bowl too dirty to use, work surfaces unwiped and utensils dirty. Significant build up of dust and cobwebs in areas, some furniture dated and decor stained. Smoke alarm needed batteries changing. Good location, very close to beach, play park outside, pub next door.

The bathroom was especially good,although it didnât feel private enough as the window had no blind.The downside was the entrance door to the porch which really gave a bad impression of the property,we initially thought weâd arrived at a derelict building!And the noise from the Vine pub was extremely noticeable.But a good cottage for a holiday in a very lovely village.

The locked door into the property appeared to be a standard inside door and not a normal outside door. I think the property just needs a little more TLC in places. On the bright side the kitchen and bathroom were very good, we slept well in the bed and the double glazing worked well. The stairs were steep which was a bit difficult for us, due to our age. But to be fair this had been pointed out in the listing. Positioning on the Island was good.
