A quiet retreat, this bijoux, detached cottage is close to the Stenbury and Worsley walking trails, yet only 1 mile from Ventnor town and Steephill Cove with restaurants and the nearest beaches. With a view of the Worsley Monument, its downland/village position offers easy access to lots of attractions. Locally you will find the island’s Donkey Sanctuary and Appuldurcombe House with its falconry centre, and the gardens of which were landscaped by Capability Brown. Close by is the village of Godshill with its own model village, along with Blackgang Chine (the oldest theme park in the UK), Ventnor Botanic Garden, Carisbrooke Castle, Robin Hill, Dinosaur Isle - in fact locals always say everything is only 20 minutes’ away! Wroxall itself has a village pub, shop and post office and is situated on a bus route. Little Croxley is also perfectly situated for the major island music festivals, including the Isle of Wight festival and Ventnor Fringe. Beach 1 mile. Shop 200 yards, pub 300 yards, restaurant 1 mile.

An excellent little cottage. Very welcoming and thank you for the welcome pack. Comfortable and perfect for what we needed, which was a relaxing week. Great beaches and attractions not too far away. Great eating places as well. We were very fortunate with the weather as we had walk to walk sunshine during our stay except for the last day but that didn’t effect us. Overall a great week and would highly recommend Little Croxley.

Its am excellent base buses in each direction every half hour We parked up and used the buses for the week Newport is a good transport hub
