Pleasant base for the area..The lodge is tidy and well presented. Could have been a little cleaner on the hard floors as there was a fair amount of sand on it.The beds were fine and the rooms equally good. The bathroom was also fine. The shower head is a bit tired, so leave it in place when using... The sofas weren't great and hard to get comfy but a minor matter.The location is a complex, and has plenty of parking. The views are of a grassed area and the local hills.There doesn't seem to be any central place on site and so all amenities are a walk or drive away. The 7 bus runs past the entrance to the place as well, which goes between Newport and Alum Bay.Pubs seem to be either in Yarmouth or Freshwater. They need booking for meals in high season, but are fine for turn up drinks.Some good walks nearby and a country park just down the road.

Cool place with double doors each end of the living area do lovely and cool. Well equipped. A little more attention to detail with cleaning some areas.

Neither shower head holder is secure, shower head moves about when in use. One screw missing in front door key hole.
