Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01227 701 110 to let them know.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Travel cot hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01227 701 110 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.

We had a lovely time, the lodges and grounds were very nice and peaceful. Lodges were comfortable and had what we needed for a weeks stay. A great base to explore Canterbury and surrounding areas. A few minor maintenance issues some blinds were broken, no toggles on the ends. Blinds were dusty and double bed was propped up on a broken leg! I’m confident if we had mentioned this it would have been fixed asap but we didn’t!

Very nice lodges .set in a nice area and a good place for days out to places. Lodges cleaned to a very good standard. Bathrooms could do with an uplift. Kitchen appliances were very good although the microwave was difficult to operate. If you get there before check in time even if your lodge is ready you will be charged £15 per hour! .I think that is a bit of a cheek considering you cant officially check in until 4pm and have to be out by 10am..I would recommend a stay there i thought it was good value

Sadly the lodges are looking tired now, not as clean as they was when we first came 3 years ago.Floors was dirty so i cleaned them, was a cracked window in one of he bedrooms with tape on it and a note to say previous guests had done it and not to open window.I feel we should of been told this when we got the key.There are 2 dog bins either side ofthe small woodland walk, both with broken lids still 3 years down the line.i do love the location and peace and quite, but i really feel it needs a bit of tlc, we could of got nicer lodges for about the same price elsewhere.The staff was friendly do can not fault that.
