We arrived at the cottage in the middle of the June heatwave however, the cottage stayed surprisingly cool and the owner provided fans which also helped. It's a very comfortable and clean accommodation with a very nice colourful back garden with a small pond. And the owner also provided a beautiful flower arrangement for the French window in front of the cottage. The kitchen and bathroom have all the necessary conveniences and the kitchen is fully equipped. Great location in a beautiful village full of history and the cottage is just a 3 minute walk to the George and Dragon pub, which has an outstanding menu, along with great service. I wish to add that Fordwich is surrounded by beautiful countryside with various trails to explore. We'll be back.
