Guests say

Vitamin Sea Residency is a cosy and homely cottage praised for its comfort, stylish interiors, and proximity to the seafront and train station. Guests enjoyed the local amenities and found the property to be a relaxing retreat, though some minor maintenance issues were noted.

The property was generally found to be cosy and homely. However, there were mentions of musky-smelling towels and cobwebs, indicating room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is highly regarded due to its close proximity to the bay, local shops, amusements, and the train station, making it convenient for guests.

Guests found the beds to be super comfy and the space cosy, contributing to a comfortable stay. The addition of a sofa bed was appreciated for extra relaxation.

The property is well-equipped with cooking equipment and essentials like towels and a hair dryer. However, there were comments about the lack of clothing storage, rusty outdoor seating, and the absence of an oven glove.

While guests mentioned thoughtful touches like a dog bed and accessories, there were no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed if such gestures are a regular occurrence.

Overall, the stay was very pleasant, the location was a 3 minute drive from the bay and a there were a few shops etc. nearby should you need anything. Lots of choice for restaurants, some locally owned as well as some chained, so there really should be a choice for anyone. There is also some local shops and amusements, so there is a bit of something for everyone. Parking is a bit ‘hit and miss’ as it is mostly on street parking. They have certainly taken on board other reviews as the accommodation had almost everything you needed (towels, fan, hair dryer etc.). The sofa can pull out into a bed which is a nice touch allowing you to get extra comfy whilst watching some TV. There were a couple of ‘niggles’, the towels provided smelt very musky, which was worse after showering. The accommodation had a lot of cobwebs in all the rooms. Finally, on the website it shows quite a few photos of the hot tub as if it was included, it is not included in the stay (it does state this on the website if you read through all the information), upon arrival there was some information about the spa facilities and how much it is etc. it had a disclosure about the hot tub and use (no glass etc.) but it wasn’t clear how this could be booked whilst we were there, it was a shame as it was something we did want to use. Overall, we would stay again with a couple of minor tweaks as the stay was very enjoyable and relaxing.

We had a brilliant time here, beautiful place to stay for some time near the sea. We adored the spa garden, only downside was not being able to spend all day in there! Would recommend!
