Half Turn Cottage is perfectly located to enjoy the delights of this wonderful seaside town. A few yards away are the restaurants, pubs, cafés and independent shops that Whitstable is renowned for. A few more yards and you are on the seafront, with miles of beach to explore, and a bucket and spade, crab bucket and crab line are provided.
This self catering holiday home has the added benefit of private parking, and has an array of entertainment on offer, including a vast library of books, DVDs, CDs, and Xbox games. The cottage is ideal for couples or a family holiday. The open plan living space is the perfect place for relaxing and socialising, and is furnished with 2 sofas and a dining table with 4 chairs. At the front of the cottage is the private parking space.

The cottage is in a very good central position for exploring Whitstable and surrounding area. with the benefit of parking. However a couple of things let it down. Space in main bedroom is overtaken by a piano and far too large wardrobe, leaving no room for a bedside cabinet and hindering accessability. Also the sofas are very low and uncomfortable. Upon stripping the bed we found the pillow to be very dirty, quite disgraceful and well past its sell by date. Need replacing urgently as are a health hazard.

The cottage is in a great location 2 mins to beach, even less to the shops and the high street, the parking is very helpful too. It was very well equipped with everything one could possibly need. The only problem I had was I couldn’t understand why there is a piano in the small double bedroom which I had to negotiate round to get in bed, and often stubbed my toe. Very strange given it was a small room. But apart from that we had a lovely time in the cottage.
