The Telephone Exchange is a brand new appointed contemporary apartment on the Whitstable Coast. Situated on the 1st floor of the old telephone exchange building, and can be access by stairs or lift, it boasts open space and high ceilings and the interior has been modified to maximise space. The apartment has been kitted out and furnished to a very high standard offering a luxurious break with stunning sea views. It has a private gated car park with its own parking space. There are two large bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. The living space is light and airy and leads to a fully equipped kitchen.

The Telephone Exchange is situated just behind the Whitstable Castle and is ideal for a family of four or two couples. Whitstable has plenty to offer from the beaches, pubs/bars and restaurants, easy access to local towns, cities and villages such as Canterbury, Deal, Broadstairs, Margate and plenty more for fun filled days out. Beach 300 yards.

    Flat 4 in the converted telephone exchange is a gem. For Whitstable the off street parking is a rare bonus and the two bedroom with ensuites configuration works well. The sitting/dining room is comfortable and spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. Its a short walk down hill to Whitstable centre and is on a regular bus route. We had a great time exploring the local area but it was always good to come back to the flat.

    The issue with the apartment is the road noise. The surface is in poor condition and each day at about 6.00am the building shook as buses and aggregate trucks hit the massive holes in the road. Not what you want on a holiday and totally spoiled our stay. The apartment itself is generally getting tired now, particularly the kitchen with broken and ill fitting doors which is why we’ve given it a low value for money score. Great location, but expensive for the overall experience.
