Located between Dover and Deal, this is a great location to explore all that Kent has to offer. The chalet is spacious and ideal for a family or group of friends looking for a break to the seaside. The doors open out onto a decking area which is a lovely addition to the property and is really special on a summer evening, watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine. This well-equipped chalet has been developed to a good standard. There are washing and drying facilities on the park site, as well as a heated indoor swimming pool, which can be booked at the reception desk or pool, for short swims.
Kingsdown Holiday Park has panoramic views over the English Channel with 36-acres of its own land to explore and enjoy. Nearby attractions include Deal and Walmer castles, both steeped in history. Deal also has a highly acclaimed main street with many individual shops. Take a stroll along the sea front, sample the fish and chips and enjoy entertainment throughout the year at its famous bandstand.
A little further afield is Margate with its renowned Turner Centre and Dreamland, and Broadstairs with Viking Bay, plus plenty of golf courses to choose from. A day trip to Canterbury is a must with its dominant cathedral and city walls, boutique shops for a spot of retail therapy or try sampling the local ales in one of the many bars. A day trip to France is popular with ferries from Dover, or a train from Ashford. Beach 250 yards. Great chalet on a fantastic holiday park. Jon the host, made us feel immediately welcome with the message sent before our arrival, and the generous welcome basket of goodies. Chalet is jammed packed with everything you need, from kitchen equipment, toys for the kids to play with, and sports equipment to enjoy all the activities available on the park. Free swimming pool on site was a big bonus, as was the race night held by the owners association in the site bar. Great local pubs minutes away, Walmer castle is a 20 min walk along a lovely stretch of beach. Plenty to do and see. Kids absolutely loved it here.

A beauty and cozy chalet holiday break with my family. The area is very scenic very close to the beach (10 mins walk) and there's a birds eye of the beach just seconds away from the chalet. We made the most out of the local facilities especially swimming every day and taking the kids to the play ground Very quiet, friendly and laid back area. So much to do in terms of day trips from Dover white cliff, castle and beaches all round. The host gave us all the info we need to settle and left us some lovely welcome snacks which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. Not forgetting a high chair and crib as we had a 6 months year old. The family hopes to come back one day in the future , thank you very much John...

Swimming pool, brilliant, nice and warm in the little pool clean changing rooms all staff are helpful
