The village has 3 local food pubs within walking distance. Outside your Kingsdown lodge, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the private, decked terrace, as you watch the waves slip over the shore across the bay. There are on-site facilities available to entertain all ages at this Kingsdown lodge, a tennis court, a children's play area and crazy golf, as well as woodland walks, and of course the fantastic, quiet beach just three minutes' walk from your cottage in Kent. Take a day trip to Canterbury, and stroll down the cobbled streets, sample the fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, or visit the cathedral. Tour the coastline and sample the many beaches close by; this Kingsdown lodge makes the perfect holiday destination for all the family.

Kingsdown is a quiet Kent village close to the shingle beach of St Margaret's Bay. There are three pubs serving food, a local butcher with delicatessen, a general store, Post Office and hairdresser. The village is situated at the northern end of the famous White Cliffs of Dover, with the beaches and cliffs around Kingsdown part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest that stretches south to Folkestone. Close by are the coastal towns of Deal, Dover and Broadstairs, offering the visitor castles, museums, heritage, history and quaint tea room. Inland, Canterbury offers a popular day out, with its cathedral, Roman remains and excellent shopping centre.
