The Coach House in Kent is frequently described as a tranquil and magical place with a beautiful garden, ideal for relaxation. Guests appreciate the peaceful surroundings, proximity to attractions, and the welcoming host, Anne. While most experiences are positive, a few guests mention cleanliness and maintenance issues.
Most guests found the Coach House to be a lovely and well-kept property. However, a few reviews mentioned that the cottage could have been cleaner, with some dust on arrival and a need for descaling of appliances, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful surroundings, and convenience to local sights, National Trust properties, and the town of Sevenoaks. Guests enjoyed the proximity to nature and the ease of visiting nearby attractions.
Guests consistently report that the cottage is cosy, warm, and comfortable, with a special mention of the quietness at night. The presence of a welcoming hamper adds to the comfort for weary travellers.
While the interior and host are often complimented, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a bathroom door that doesn't close properly, broken tiles, and a permanently locked kitchen door. These issues suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
The host, Anne, is frequently mentioned for her thoughtfulness and helpfulness. Guests speak fondly of the welcome hamper provided, although it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Enjoyed a relaxing stay in this very comfortable coach house. . The gardens offered privacy for eating and drinks on the patio. Would recommend a stay here. Maybe note the twin bedroom has no door and is open to the staircase. Toiletries were not supplied.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Coach House. The house is beautifully decorated and situated in a wonderful setting. We loved our walks and cycle tours in the area, and also visited a lot of National Trust sites. Anne was very helpful in every way; thank you Anne!
