A woodburner makes this holiday cottage an ideal getaway for all seasons. Stroll down the hill into the Cinque Port of Hythe with its shops, restaurants and beach. Take a walk or cycle along the tow path of The Royal Military Canal. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Our 5th visit to rose cottage & we have noticed it’s gone down. The cottage could do with a paint up & maybe new sofas. Also there are very few glasses (no tumbler’s) . The towels were stained & a bit grey. Also there’s only 1 teaspoon. The carpet on the top step of the single bedroom is coming away & the wardrobe doesn’t stay shut. It’s a beautiful little cottage but needs some TLC.

We had a lovely holiday here. Lots of local things to do with our dog. Lots of lovely walks from the beaches to the country park. We struggled a bit with the steep, narrow stairs but overall we were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner very helpful.

Very quaint cottage when we arrived there was wine and biscuits also milk tea and coffee so thoughtful
