Banksiae is adorned with a lovely mixture of vintage and contemporary furniture including a sumptuous bespoke 7’ 6" master bed for the ultimate in comfort. A leisurely breakfast can be enjoyed in the bay window whilst admiring the rural panoramic views across the Cherwell Valley.
Banksiae is inspired by the climbing rose "Banksiae Lutea", whose sprays of pale lemon blooms festoon the walls of the nursery house each spring. Named after the intrepid explorer SirJoseph Banks who studied in Oxford before setting off on his famous plant hunting voyages of discovery for Kew.

Hosts very friendly and helpful. Apartment spotlessly clean, very well appointed, everything good quality. Kitchen well supplied with equipment/utensils/ gadgets etc. Modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Welcome pack of breakfast foods left for us on arrival and an unexpected treat on departure. Peaceful location, lovely to wake up to morning birdsong. Nearby airfield but noise not a problem. Location ideal for both Cotswolds and Oxford, and only 50 mins to Bletchley Park.

Remarkable apartment. The owners have furnished and presented it to a standard we haven't seen in holiday lettings. A special mention for the lovely Hypnos mattresses but, in reality, it simply ticks all the boxes. Brilliantly located for Oxford, Blenheim and the Cotswolds and much more.

This is a truly outstanding cottage located in a plant nursery in a small hamlet. The immaculate property has been modernised to a high standard and is very well equipped with high quality fixtures, furnishings and bed linens. The peaceful rural location is ideal for exploring Oxfordshire and beyond. Andrew and Liz (the owners) are very friendly and helpful whilst also being respectful of guest privacy. We would not hesitate in booking again if we find ourselves in the area in future.
