Set along the main road into the village, it lies in a fantastic Oxfordshire location.
The spacious ground floor accommodation boasts a cosy living room featuring a gas wood-burner-effect fire for those chilly nights in and an open plan kitchen/dining room, perfect for small dinner parties. The enclosed garden has far-reaching views over the fields and the Oxfordshire countryside and is just a short stroll from the village centre where you’ll find pubs, a bakery, a restaurant, and a convenience shop. During the summer you can catch a game of cricket on the village green.
Steventon, located in the Vale of the White Horse in Oxfordshire lies approximately 5 miles from the towns of Abingdon and Didcot. On the banks of the Thames, Abingdon, purported to be the oldest town in England, is steeped in history with many fine old buildings. Visit the large collection of steam locomotives at Didcot Railway Centre where you can also ride on the 1930s trains. Great cottage in a great location. Very friendly owners live nearby so can be easily contacted but not intrusive at all. Great package left for our arrival including tea bags, milk, cake and prosecco! Fans in very hot weather were extremely welcome. Extremely well equipped, everything you could need.

Lovely, extremely well-equipped accommodation. Well placed for getting out and about, and some good NT properties nearby. The local pub (The Cherry Tree) is a just a couple of minutes walk away, and serves good pub food.
