Lovely lodge. Everything has been thought of. Spotlessly clean. The area is really nice, lots of pretty villages, loads of places to visit. The site is not yet finished. You can’t walk around the lake as is shown on the map. This didn’t bother us as we were either in the lodge or the hot tub, and this probably made it feel more peaceful and secluded. Would definitely return, would be nice to see the site when finished. A little honesty hut would be nice as there aren’t any shops within walking distance. We were left chocolate and Buck’s Fizz which was a lovely touch.

Really great lodge, perfect for a weekend getaway and nice for each bedroom to have their own bathroom. The lodge was kitted out with everything we required, the hot tub was delightful and the fire made the space cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! One pointer is the very early checkout time on Sunday of 9am. Barely anywhere is open at that time for breakfast, to extend the trip a little longer! A later weekend checkout would have made it perfect. Slight isues - there were no instructions for the fire in the manual, there were two different WiFi paswords, but both were dealt with very quickly via text with a responsive host. All in all highly recommend!
