Cobnut is a characterful cottage situated on the Heath Farm Estate. With exposed beams and stonework, family and friends are guaranteed a memorable stay making many happy memories in beautiful surroundings.
Upon entering Cobnut, the spacious entrance leads into a vast sitting and dining room with sumptuous seating, solid elm floor, open fireplace and a solid oak, refectory dining table with spectacular views across the fields and valley.
The well-equipped, oak framed kitchen has a granite work top and stainless steel, making this combination of rustic chic and modern appliances the perfect place to create a home cooked meal.
The first floor offers two bedrooms, both boasting super-king size zip and link, handmade hardwood beds, solid oak floors and en-suites. The front bedroom overlooks the shared courtyard and the exquisite en-suite shower room has Venetian marble tiling, exposed stone wall and oak panelling. The rear bedroom looks out across the valley and pond below with the en-suite bathroom featuring Venetian marble tiling and a deep, oak panelled bath.
Outside is a communal courtyard and garden, where you can relax in the peaceful surroundings or enjoy a stroll through the garden whilst enjoying the breathtaking views. Heath Farm is set in over 70 acres of meadow and woodland, with a wonderful spring water lake where guests can enjoy wild water swimming, trout fishing and boating.
Guests also have use of the communal games room, boasting table tennis, a pool table, musical equipment and much more. There is also a wide selection of toys, games, DVD's and books for guests to borrow whilst they stay.
