Privacy is not compromised as the cottage is completely walled-in and opens up on to a large, private field with a fruit orchard and wild flowers, allowing access for lovely country walks. The private garden door with your own key lets you slip easily down the lane into one of two lovely Cotswold pubs right in the village, or to the local shop for delicious homemade bread and cakes. All the ceilings are double volume with beautiful exposed natural oak beams, and the rooms are very generously proportioned. A superior quality Hypnos super-king size bed will guarantee you the rest you have come for and the tranquil environment will ensure you won't want to leave!
Ideally situated for eating out, Hunter Cottage is a two minute walk from two stylish and cosy 17th century pubs, the Masons Arms and the Double Red Duke, with excellent food and roaring fires in winter. The village also boasts a post office and village shop. In the neighbouring village of Bampton you will discover a supermarket, the local butchers, an art gallery and a number of pubs. Bampton has a variety of annual events including The Great Original Shirt Race, Morris Dancing and Donkey Derby.
