Family friendly, this spacious property is well-equipped and is ideally located to explore the high quantity of nearby local tourist attractions on offer. Close by you will find the town of Windsor, where you can watch the changing of the guard ceremony outside the Castle, walk around neighbouring Eton, take a cruise down the River Thames on a hired boat or visit the Magna Carta Monument. Other attractions nearby include Legoland Windsor, Thorpe Park, Windsor Racecourse, Royal Ascot, and Liquid Leisure, the home of Europe’s largest waterpark.
Of course if you wish to venture slightly further afield the country’s capital is easily reached by public transport. Harrison Barber Cottage is located just metres away from the famous Ostrich Inn, steeped in history, it’s one of the oldest public houses in England, dating back to 1106. There are many fine dining establishments nearby for you to try, as well as a number of takeaway options. Shop, pub and restaurant 175 yards.
