The old adage of location, location, location really does apply to Ocean Beach, amenities all close by.I would really like to give this property 5* all the way but some things are a tad tired, we did have issues with the TV but Matt was out within a couple of hours and fixed it (I do notice from other reviews this an ongoing problem). Probably with a days work the place would sparkle.As Keith Floyd once said, the difference between good and excellent is 1%

Very good location, quiet cul-de-sac property with easy access to main routes. When booked online it states 10:00am for leaving. The instruction book at the property had manually amended it to 09:30am. T&Cs should be consistent.This is the first property that I have visited which does not provide a welcome pack. There were plenty of toilet rolls in each bathroom, teabags and sugar in caddies, plus salt and pepper grinders and an open bottle of vegetable oil, presumably left by previous renters.The many cushions on the two sofas in the main living area constantly shed feathers, visible on arrival. These would be a trigger for anyone with an allergy.

Spacious cottage, great location very close to the promenade. Plenty of room for 5 adults and a dog. Lobster pot cafe just round the corner for lovely breakfast. The Fox Inn a few minutes walk away was lively and has good food.
