This inviting holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village of Hunston, 6 miles from the south coast. Sleeping four guests across two charming bedrooms, switch off in beautiful rural surroundings. The unspoilt, sandy beach at West Wittering is just 6 miles away and is the perfect place to take a wild, windswept coastal walk or perhaps join the locals for a spot of kite surfing. Another popular spot for walkers is Chichester Harbour (10 miles), the largest natural harbour in the south east. Here, you can join one of the many footpaths through the wetlands to admire the spectacular scenery and rare wildlife. The vibrant city of Chichester is just 3 miles away and boasts a fantastic array of independent shops and eateries, along with museums and galleries. Other nearby days out include Weald and Downland Living Museum, Petworth House, and Goodwood Estate (all within 20 miles).
The red brick cottage is full of personality and charm, thanks to its original beams and white-washed walls. Enter the holiday retreat into the cosy lounge/diner, where an array of comfortable seating is set around a Smart TV. This room is also home to a wooden dining table for enjoying family feasts at the end of a busy day. The separate kitchen has all the equipment needed for a successful self-catering getaway. A contemporary shower room rounds off the ground floor. Upstairs, you’ll find two tranquil bedrooms, both with wooden furniture and plush linens. Choose from a king-size with far-reaching rural views or a delightful twin bedroom. Please note, the bedrooms have sloping ceilings and you may experience restricted head height in some areas.
Outside, to the side, the enclosed grassed garden features pretty flowers and a choice of areas for al fresco dining on a summer’s evening. The cottage has private parking for one car.
