Enjoyable stay by 2 couples plus 2 dogs. The Barn is very well presented in a lovely part of the country. Facilities are excellent and well maintained. Everything you need is provided. The owners are on hand but allow visitors their privacyOne small improvement would be the addition of a a handrail on the wall of the stairs. This would have been a big help to us 'oldies'!There is no 'stand up' shower due to the sloping ceiling in the bathroomWe have a large dog and the walking facilities were retricted for us as the field accessible from the cottage is separated from the horse paddock by an electric fence. Access to the neighbouring woods is by a stile - this could not work for us because of the size of our dog and our own mobility issues. There would no problems for fit vistors with smaller dogs. There are , however, excellent walks within a few minutes drive.

A fab property. Hot tub is amazing, great for watching planes and stars at night. Owners friendly but respect your space. Animals are a added bonus. Internet not the best and only a shower over the bath due to low ceilings. kitchen had everything you needed. Bed comfortable but again low ceilings.

The barn is in a beautiful setting and is very peaceful. The decor inside is beautiful and the owners were very thoughtful in adding extra touches with the lovely Easter decor and chocolate eggs left for us. It was cosy and peaceful. I would definitely recommend if you have a young family. The only slight disappointment for us was we were not able to use the hot tub on our last night as it had been maintained in the afternoon and the heat hadn’t been switched back on. We went to get in and realised it was stone cold. The second thing was the bath and shower were a bit uncomfortable as you had to crouch down to wash. It didn’t affect our stay and to be fair it does state this on the booking that if you are tall it might be a problem with the low ceilings.. it’s still a lovely place, and we loved our time there. It’s also in a great place to explore all areas, we visited nearby Petworth, Arundel, Worthing and Bognor. It’s a very pretty part of the world.
