This detached holiday home nestles in the ideal spot where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful break, yet it is perfectly situated to explore the stunning Cranborne Chase National Landscape.
This wonderful location also joins a prestigious group of areas around the world that are certified International Dark-Sky Reserves and the park has been awarded as Dark Sky Friendly by Cranborne Chase National Landscape International Dark Sky Reserve, where you can see the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy, if the clouds allow!
The lodge is only 20 minutes from the New Forest National Park, famous for its ponies, and it borders Martin Down National Nature Reserve. the latter is known for its wildlife, rare flowers and butterflies. The Jubilee Trail crosses from border to border across Dorset and there is direct access to many miles of stunning footpaths, bridleways and cross-country cycling around the hamlet of Pentridge.
Although the lodge is set in a quiet countryside location, you are only 40 minutes from the glorious sandy beaches of the south coast and the fossils of the Jurassic Coast. If you are searching for a fun-filled day trip, then Newforest Water Park, Longleat, Peppa Pig World, Monkey World, and Bovington Tank Museum will offer fun for all ages and are well worth a visit. The Whitey Top Country Lodge (Ref UK36157) and Cranborne Chase Stargazer (Ref. UKC6914) both with their hot tub, are well spaced and sited to ensure privacy.

We loved staying at this lodge. The views were stunning. The lodge was clean and we particularly enjoyed the welcome treat. The hot tub was lovely and warm even though it wasnt the greatest weather. Would happily stay again.

We loved our time at Buckland Lodge and couldn't have been more pleased with the place. The lodge itself was very spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, modern, and had everything you could need, including a washing machine and dishwasher, plus nice little extras like a pair of binoculars and a telescope! The welcome was warm (as was the hot tub), with tea, coffee and jams left for our arrival. The location is so peaceful and pretty, perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all, but an easy drive from Salisbury, the New Forest, and other nice places to visit. There are two other lodges at the location, but they're spaced far enough apart that you're not overlooked or disturbed in any way, and have plenty of outdoor space. The hot tub was great, and very private. My whole family loved the place, and we would definitely recommend it to others. Our £75 deposit was returned very promptly too on the day of our departure, and was back in my bank account by the time we arrived home! It was a lovely holiday experience.

Buckland lodge was stunning and the pictures did not do it justice. everything you needed for a short or long stay. Spotlesly clean and the hosts were amazing. The views were stunning amd albeit a.lottle remote not too far to any local amenities. I would definitely recommend Buckland amd will definitely return Thank you Julie and Peter
