Guests particularly enjoy the hot tub, wildlife views, and the helpfulness of the hosts. The lodge is ideal for families, couples, and groups seeking a relaxing escape, with plenty of walking opportunities nearby. While amenities and shops require a short drive, most guests found this added to the sense of tranquillity. Minor suggestions include more kitchenware and improved WiFi, but overall, the experience is overwhelmingly positive.
Cleanliness is consistently highlighted, with multiple guests describing the lodge as spotless, tidy, and well-maintained. Only one minor mention of a plumbing issue, which was promptly resolved by the owners.
The location is frequently described as peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for nature lovers, with excellent views and walking opportunities. The only drawback noted is the distance to shops and amenities, which most guests did not mind.
Guests found the lodge comfortable, spacious, and cosy, with special mention of comfortable beds and suitability for families and groups. One guest suggested blackout curtains for lighter sleepers.
Facilities such as the hot tub, kitchen appliances, and outdoor seating are highly appreciated. Some guests suggested more crockery and improved WiFi, but overall, the lodge is considered very well equipped.

Lovely quiet location, no local amenities which was fine with us, we found a couple of nice pubs whilst we were out and about. Lodge was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub 😄 Would suggest some seating outside, more comfortable than the picnic table.
