Lakeview Lodge is a beautifully situated holiday home on a quiet site in the heart of the New Forest National Park. With a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen all overlooking the spacious terrace and the ornamental lake, this is the perfect choice for families looking for an all-important relaxing break.
With three generous bedrooms, master with en-suite and dressing area this is not your average lodge. There are various activities available on-site, shop, children’s play area, splash pad, Ember café and bar, fishing lake, bike hire, segway sessions, and an activity and leisure programme (please note that the site activities and café are closed over the winter months).
If you are searching for a bit of peace space and luxury, then Lakeview Lodge is a perfect choice. You may wish to simply enjoy the surroundings of the lodge, however if you do venture out you will not be short of places to explore. The New Forest National Park offers some fantastic walking and cycling trails and some fantastic village inns for a drink or two and a bite to eat, and the perfect place for some fresh air and exercise. If you are staying with children of a certain age, Paulton Park and Peppa Pig World is the perfect day out and is just a few miles from the lodge. If you are looking to head out for dinner, the very well-regarded Les Mirabelles restaurant is a little over a mile away (early booking is advised) or a more traditional village Inn, The Lamb Inn, is also just over a mile away. The stunning cathedral city of Salisbury is also well worth a visit while staying at Lakeview Lodge, with the iconic Neolithic stones of Stonehenge a sight to behold, a little north of Salisbury. If you long for a sandy beach and some fresh sea air, the sandy beaches of Mudeford and Bournemouth are a little over half an hour’s drive away and make the perfect day out for guests of all ages. We are certain this captivating lodge will have you longing to return again and again.

Our Family Mum, Dad, Daughter, Son in Law and 2 Grandsons thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lakeview Lodge. It was exceptional, very welcoming and everything we needed. The only slight drawback, to us, was the induction hob, neither myself or my daughter have ever used one before, we got the instruction book out but still found it difficult to understand. We are both Northerners and at home we cook on Gas - turn it on see the flame and regulate it to heat we understand. LOL !!! The chalet however was brilliant, very spacious, lovely furnishings and the finishing touches were beautiful - the attention to detail was delightful. We all would highly recommend the chalet and its proximity to so many wonderful places was a proper bonus. Hopefully we will all get together and return in the warmer months to visit lots more lovely places and spend a little more time there. A huge thank you to the owners for our wonderful New Year break.
