This single storey holiday lodge is situated in its own private garden overlooking the 3-acre cottage garden. The garden is accessible to guests of Lavender Lea free of charge during the opening hours of 10am-4.30pm Wed-Sat. There is also a family-run tearoom on-site serving delicious homemade cakes, cream teas and light lunches. There are buzzards, red kites, pheasants and plenty of wild birds which feed from the flower seed heads throughout the year. The setting offers beautiful and tranquil scenery, ideal for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
This is an ideal area for walking/cycling and sightseeing. Lavender Lea is within 1 mile of the New Forest with acres of heath and woodlands and famous for its free roaming ponies, cattle, donkeys and foraging boar. The ancient city of Salisbury with its magnificent cathedral, 12 miles. Southampton with its fantastic West Quay shopping mall and leisure complex also offers easy access to the Isle of Wight. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Very comfortable and well appointed. It's proximity to the A36 means that you can sometimes hear road noise but it is not intrusive. It also means that access around the area is quick and convenient. The attached gardens are well laid out and worth visiting in their own right. Oh and the bacon rolls are excellent. :)

We loved staying in Lavender Lea. Lodge is well equipped and comfortable. Being able to visit the gardens and tea room was a real bonus. Will hopefully be back

Fantastic accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Very clean and comfortable. Ideal for a quiet break away. Perfectly located for many of the local attractions. Tea room next-door is excellent. The hosts were perfect.Would highly recommend.Thank you for a lovely holiday.
