This delightful converted 17th century stable building is located within the grounds of the owner’s home in a peaceful rural village setting. The tastefully decorated and comfortable cottage is single storey with patio doors from the living room and bedroom leading onto the garden and patio area. There are many public footpaths leading from the village to explore the surrounding fields and woodland. The beautiful city of Bath has numerous famous attractions, including the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms, The Assembly Rooms and the award-winning Thermae Bath Spa. Many cultural festivals take place throughout the year. Shops, services and take-aways within 1 mile as well as excellent pubs and restaurants within a radius of 3 miles. The owner has a friendly small dog.

A great place for a relaxing break but with easy access to Bath and the surrounding area. The lanes around the village are a bit challenging for larger cars but generally were very quiet. Lovely welcome package of goodies and great to meet Louis, even if he wouldn’t give us the ball!

What a fantastic area. The Stabe was a very nice and organised holiday appartment. On arrival there was a get you in pack, Bacon, eggs, bread, butter and other a few other items. The garden is great for a nice chilling day/evening with a BBQ stand at request. For dog owners its perfect with lots of walks. The owners are very kind and if there are any questions to be asked they are with in the grounds. The roads are small in width with in Carlingcott, this is of course no problem due to respect from all drivers. Wells is well worth a visit, also bath. and many other areas, depending on what you as a person like. I reccomend this location and of course the Stables to future holiday makers who wish to visit this area.
