Broadstone village , an easy five minute walk away via the Castlemain Trailway, has a couple of pubs, several eateries, and a range of small shops. From Broadstone village there is a regular bus service to Poole town centre in one direction and Wimborne in the other.
Just a short drive away, the historic town of Wimborne Minster is worth a visit, known for its stunning medieval architecture, including the impressive Wimborne Minster itself. The town is also home to the fascinating Model Town, a miniature replica of Wimborne from the 1950s.
The nearby town of Poole, with its historic quay, offers boat trips to Brownsea Island and Swanage. Popular day trips include Dorchester, the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast.

We had a fantastic week at By The Way with amazing weather. The garden is large , our sprocker Ozzy loved charging about . Massive thank you to the owners for supplying sunloungers after I enquired if there was any, lovely for relaxing in the sun with a cold drink after our day out. There is everything you need here including comfy bed and pillows.We enjoyed using the Castlemaine trail for walks ,great for keeping in the shade with the dog.If you the Wimbourne signs on the trsilway you come to the Willet Arms which serves good food and has a beer garden(dogs are very welcome ) Delph woods was also nice with streams for Ozzy to cool off in. If you want to get out and see Dorset I would definitely recommend a car as it is a bit out of the way regarding visits to the beach.

The Single Bed could do without the Wood on the Ends to make it a little bit Longer.
