Broadstone village , an easy five minute walk away via the Castlemain Trailway, has a couple of pubs, several eateries, and a range of small shops. From Broadstone village there is a regular bus service to Poole town centre in one direction and Wimborne in the other.
Just a short drive away, the historic town of Wimborne Minster is worth a visit, known for its stunning medieval architecture, including the impressive Wimborne Minster itself. The town is also home to the fascinating Model Town, a miniature replica of Wimborne from the 1950s.
The nearby town of Poole, with its historic quay, offers boat trips to Brownsea Island and Swanage. Popular day trips include Dorchester, the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast.

By The Way is a fabulous holiday property, immaculately clean and spacious with a large, comfortable sitting room, dining room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a fully fitted kitchen. The garden is huge and totally secure and the back gate leads out onto a walking track that in turn leads to a nature reserve, woodland, and heath which was perfect for us and our dog. The owners have preempted your every possible need and we can honestly say that this is the most comfortable, clean, and well thought out holiday home that we have ever stayed in. It is in a perfect location for exploring all that Dorset has to offer and with lots of useful amenities within walking distance. We wholeheartedly recommend By The Way and it's lovely owners, Alastair and Elizabeth, to anyone looking to visit this area of beautiful Dorset.

“By The Way” is a lovely comfortable bungalow sitting in a quiet residential estate. The walkway (via the garden gate) gives a high street within a ten minute walk, where everything you could want or need is available. It is only a short drive to many places of interest so is a great base for a lovely holiday. The pretty garden is safe for dogs. A kind welcome note, and a use folder of information were in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here again.
