Standing detached beside the owner’s driveway, Ladyvale Barn is named after the ancient stone clapper bridge just a short walk away. All guests are welcome to make full use of the owners lower garden which has a large pond and an area between the pond and the river with a picnic bench. It is tucked away in a very rural location adjoining to Cardinham Woods, the largest wooded area in Cornwall with 650 acres of forest and well-loved by many for a leisurely stroll or an exhilarating cycle. Just walk along the lane and into the woods where you can find the many brilliant walks and mountain bike trails. Venture a little further and visit the café in the woods, a real treat after a good ramble.

Beautiful little cottage tucked away in Cardinham Woods. The host Lance was very friendly with good communication and he left a welcome package which was a nice touch. Comfortable bed and relaxing hot tub. The kitchen had everything you needed and the laundry room was an added bonus. The gardens were beautifully kept and we saw a variety of birds including the woodpecker on the bird feeder. If you want a peaceful escape, this is the place for you. Some great walks into the Woods from the Cottage.

Lovely welcome by Lance, the owner who showed us around on arrival. Good, clean and comfortable accommodation in a very quiet and peaceful location. The noisiest thing were the birds chirping away whilst we relaxed in the hot tub.

A simply wonderful cottage in a very peaceful location. Ideally placed for walking and nearby attractions around Bodmin area. Loved the garden area summer house and the hot tub. Thhe owner , Lance was also very helpful when we arrived.
