Small garden with front and rear patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Parking. No smoking.. This charming attached barn conversion retains lots of character and enjoys far reaching country views and a very good standard of holiday accommodation. Located in unspoilt countryside, only a 10-minute walk from the pretty village of St Kew with its pub and church, and only 3 miles from the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac and the spectacular north Cornish coast, with many popular sandy beaches including Daymer Bay and Polzeath. The property is part of a dairy and beef farm with plenty of wide open green fields and an abundance of wildlife. There is also a fishing pond stocked with carp, adjoining a nature trail and woodland walk, situated within minutes of the cottages and St Kew inn. The Camel Trail cycle path is within easy reach as is The Eden Project and Lanhydrock House and Gardens (National Trust). Walking, cycling, golf and fishing are all nearby. Shop 3/4 mile, pub 1/4 mile.

Warm and cosy cottage with everything you needed for a lovely stay. The flowers, biscuits and milk were very welcome on arrival, thanks Alison. Within easy reach of Tintagel, Port Isaac and Wadebridge.

Had a wonderful week at Roosters Perch, despite the wet and windy weather!!The cottage is in a lovely rural setting with great views, surrounded by very narrow roads, (you have been warned!!). We visited Padstow, which we both loved, Tintagel, Wadebridge, Widemouth and other small villages, didn't get a chance to do some of the things we had planned, due to the aforementioned weather. The nearest pub is the Kew Inn, but if you fancy having a meal there, make sure you book, it was always very busy. Our two favourite spots to eat were The Maltsters, which is about 5 miles away, (fantastic food and a wonderful Cornish welcome), or if you fancy something a little more exotic, Reggie's Mumbai Street Food which is near Padstow a bit further out. Absolutely gorgeous food and well worth the drive. We also visited the Tarquin Gin distillery, which was both great fun and educational. Roosters Perch was perfect for our stay, would recommend to anyone....
