Sadly, this wasn't the positive experience I was hoping for. The spare bedroom sheets had a bloodstain on them, which took the owner of the property two days to provide a fresh sheet - considering they were next door, not exactly a reasonable response to the complaint. The fridge had a rather unpleasant smell, and there were numerous old stains on the sofas. The property is directly above another dwelling; unfortunately a lot of noise from the occupants of this carries upstairs. It's a real shame, as the location is lovely, with a great village pub a short walk away, and if you're into horses it's right next door to a riding stable.
