Initial fuel for wood burner included. Decked sitting-out area. 40 acres of grounds with walled garden and seating area (shared with other property on-site). Bike store. Ample parking. No smoking. Please note: No children or babies due to animals and farm machinery in the area. There are 2 steps in the grounds.. These spacious holiday cottages, finished and fitted to a very good standard, have been thoughtfully designed keeping some original features. Set down a quiet country lane, a short drive from historic Bodmin, and around a courtyard garden,, they have country views. A short walk leads to the station where the popular Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway runs to Bodmin with its historical jail, shops, restaurants and pubs. From the station at Bodmin Parkway you can walk to NT Lanhydrock House. From the cottages you can walk to the Camel Valley Vineyard to sample and purchase the local wines. Within walking distance is the local pub and the Camel Trail, a level disused railway line, with an abundance of wildlife along the Camel Estuary - ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riding. The properties are ideally situated to visit the North Cornwall coastal resorts of Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, and Padstow - home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Close by are the South Cornwall coastal resorts of Fowey, Looe and Polperro, or take a trip to the famous Eden Project. A short drive away is unspoilt Bodmin Moor, Rough Tor and Brown Willy. Golf, horse riding and fishing are all nearby. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub ½ mile. We also have our own bar and restaurant situated on the farm that offers drinks alongside small or large plates of exceptional quality.

Home from HomeLocated on the outskirts forthe historic town Bodmin, the property itself has iys own unsolved history.The Coach House is welcoming along with Kate and Steve. We have stayed here twice now and wouldnt hesitate in returning. Lacking for nothing you will find yourself relaxing and having the best night's sleep..The Ciach House is to a high standard, with all the comforts from home. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved this upside down cottage. Situated a short drive from a fab pub (it is walkable, but no street lights or pavement at some points), supermarkets, and petrol stations. Ideally located to explore Cornwall. Camel Trail starts at the pub, and you can hire bikes to cycle to Padstow, pretty flat 23 miles in total. Lanhydrock, Fowey, Charlestown, Polperro etc are all within easy reach by car. Trains are available from Bodmin Parkway (not much parking, so worthdriving to Liskeard to park). Trains here to Penzance and Looe. The owners of the Coach House are so lovely and welcoming, it's fabulous. 5 very friendly dogs (the owners) wander happily around. Surrounded by countryside, horses and the odd cow too! Recommend and plan to return.

What a wonderful relaxing few days in the most perfect of cottages! It really was home from home. Stephen and Kate were the perfect hosts and took the time to chat with us and offer suggestions on the local area. We can highly recommend The Coach House and look forward to returning ourselves when we are in the area again.
