Set back from the bustle, yet immediately within the heart of Bude, Strandside Townhouse Strand Court offers a perfect base a short walk from the beach, canal and high street of one of Cornwall’s most charming Victorian seaside towns. Reached by a short flight of steps just off the main road, its position feels wonderfully removed from what it backs on to - you’d scarcely believe the shops, pubs and restaurants are so close at hand. With parking at a premium in the town, the added benefit of a private space in the underground car park is a rare and valuable luxury.
Finished to a high standard, step into a modern welcoming open-plan living space; a hub for unwinding after a day by the coast. The kitchen includes thoughtful touches such as an air fryer and coffee machine, while a comfortable sofa, twin chairs and a picnic-style dining table create an inviting space to gather and linger.

While the wild landscapes of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor invite further exploration. First the good stuff:1. Can't beat the location. Walking distance to everything in Bude, so no need to find car parking. Big plus.2. Private one car secured parking accessed by a FOB.3. Comfortable Beds4. One full bathroom with shower and two additional powder rooms.Now the issues:1. On arrival, after a 6 hour drive, there was no hot-water anywhere in the house and we could not have a shower. We brought this up with the caretaker and she said she will contact the owners and get it rectified, as this was not a normal occurrence. Next morning, we again brought it up with her, that the problem still persisted. The caretaker apologised and followed up and got an engineer to finally arrive by 10:30am., who solved the issue. We understand these things happen and the needful was done.2. Since the house is vertical with the bedrooms being on the 1st and second floor, it would be challenging for the elderly and specially abled, due to the multiple steps to reach the bedrooms.3. For a property to be listed as 'Luxury', the lack of a washing machine seems a glaring omission.Overall its a good property, with few caveats, and we would recommend keeping these in mind.

Very good location in Bude very central with convinient parking space. You can do everything in Bude on foot including walking to the beautiful beach or to access the Coastpath. The kitchen however could be better equipped it's all e bit there is little there to cook seriously.

Lovely place to stay. Great for a family trip to Bude. Would have preferred a washing machine rather than the dishwasher & a small vacuum would come in handy but other than that would definitely recommend
