The southwest coastal path is a year round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. The nearest beach to Camelford is Trebarwith Strand. Truly wonderful and only around five miles away, it is perfect for a day by the sea. Nearby Wadebridge has a vibrant shopping centre and the Camel Trail, while Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed and Tintagel can all be reached in less than 20 minutes. A superb location all year round.

Marhayes is pristine - everything absolutely immaculate (thank you Sue and your team). We enjoyed many hours of playing pool (the kitchen dining table converts into a pool table). Table Tennis is in the building next door. The indoor swimming pool is huge and as it is only shared with the other holiday cottage, generally you have this completely to yourselves. The extensive grounds with rolling fields, woodland and babbling brook was simply heaven for our dogs. This is an outstanding holiday cottage with exceptional swimming pool facilities, located close to gorgeous dog friendly beaches (Polzeath, Daymer). We will return - it is 10/10.

If their is perfection in this world this is it. The owners have thought of everything in the farmhouse you are not wanting for anything. Beds are comfy the showers are great and the house is lovely and warm including use of the wood burner which is fantastic. The dogs loved the extensive grounds to walk in and so did we and the swimming pool was absolutely incredible. We really cannot put into words properly how fantastic Marhayes is and we will be talking about this holiday for a long time to come.
