Dragonflies & Seahorses is a well-received cottage in Falmouth, Cornwall, praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped nature, and thoughtful touches like Easter treats and scones. The garden is tidy and the location is convenient for beach access and local amenities. Some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are noted, but overall guests are highly satisfied and would return.
The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its tidy and spotless condition. One mention of a damp smell suggests a slight deduction.
The location is generally appreciated for its proximity to beaches and Falmouth town, with a quiet setting. However, the lack of views due to the modern housing estate setting slightly affects the score.
Comfort receives positive comments regarding the well-equipped nature of the house, but several guests mention issues with bed comfort and the need for blackout blinds, leading to a moderate score.
Facilities are well-regarded, with special mentions of the garden and toys for children. Some maintenance issues like a leaking shower and the need for additional kitchen items are noted.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful gestures such as welcome treats and flowers. While these are well-received, it is politely noted that such personal touches are not guaranteed with every stay.

We used it as a base to explore Falmouth and surrounding areas. Itâs approx 35 mins walk to the centre of Falmouth along the coast path. Beds are comfy, kitchen well equipped for self catering. The only thing I would change is the supply of a washing airer to dry washing. Thanks we will be back again.

Lovely house, well equipped. High chair and stair gate were an added bonus. Garden was fantastic for the kids and nice and safe. Good location, we managed to find plenty of things to do! We would definitely stay again.
