Puffin Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in the coastal village of Flushing. Puffin Cottage is set over two floors and can sleep six guests, making a stylish setting for your next adventure to Cornwall, within easy reach of Penryn and across the water from fabulous Falmouth resort. Upon entering the property, you are greeted by a little porch leading into the welcoming sitting room with sofas gathering round the television and the open fire which is placed in an exposed brick feature fireplace, there is also a desk for any guests who need to catch up with some work. Leading through into the kitchen/diner, which is a bright and airy space with everything you need to rustle up an evening meal, making the perfect spot for socialising over good food and toasting to a wonderful holiday.

The ground-floor also boasts a shower room, which is ideally placed for washing those sandy feet after a long day. Climbing upstairs, there is a bathroom and three pretty bedrooms; a super-king-size with blue features fitting the coastal theme, a king-size which is white throughout and boasts great storage space for those guests wanting to unpack personal belongings, and a bunk room which can be great for adults or children with the full sized beds. Outside there is a rear courtyard which is a great sunspot, boasting furniture and a barbecue, so guests can enjoy an evening watching the sun go down.

Puffin Cottage is great for family, friends or couples who are seeking a coastal pad with the option of adventure close by, in the interesting village port being constructed in the 18th century by the Dutch and with the Queen Anne style houses built by ship captains in the past, you can expect to see charming and unconventional architecture. In Flushing itself, you can sample the local produce at The Waterside seafood restaurant as the boats sail by, or build an appetite first as you enjoy a ramble along the scenic coastal footpath to stunning Mylor. Also in the village, you can find two cheerful pubs, a local store for any essentials you may need during your stay, a beach which allows dogs too, the historical landmark of the RNLI Fitzroy Barometer which represents the local fishermen history of the area, and a sailing club where you can watch yacht racing amongst locals.

Just a short drive away, across the river, is the much loved town of Falmouth which boasts attractions for everyone; visit the National Maritime Museum, discover Pendennis Castle, swim at one of the four beaches, browse the art galleries, try a sea safari excursion, visit one of the spectacular sub-tropical gardens or discover the coastline from a hired kayak. Also within driving distance, you can make good use of the amenities at Penryn, Truro and Redruth. Puffin Cottage makes a superb holiday home throughout the year and will be one to return to again and again.

Flushing has an 18th century port, two pubs, a restaurant with views, a store for any essentials and a historical landmark of the rnli Fitzroy Barometer, presenting the local fishermen history of the area. If you fancy a day out at the beach, Flushing has a lovely sandy area, which welcomes dogs too. You can also find a sailing club where you can see yacht racing amongst the locals.
