Breeze Cottage is a tastefully furnished, dog friendly holiday home, situated in the Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth, and is one of a group of purpose built, privately owned holiday cottages ideally positioned close to the bustling and vibrant harbour town of Falmouth and the sandy beaches of Swanpool and Maenporth. Ideal for families with children, the onsite facilities include tennis courts, childrens outdoor play area and an indoor splash pool (seasonal opening hours). Positioned on the pretty village green, this comfortable holiday home has a practical and modern interior with open plan living room with a spacious seating and dining area and corner fitted kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a separate family bathroom. Outside, a private sheltered patio offers a good degree of privacy and a picnic bench where parents can relax and watch whilst their children play on the communal lawn. Set on the south side of the Village, alongside the stream that winds its way towards the cove, the cottage is a short walk from the amenities on site. Maenporth Beach, a quieter venue for those seeking rest and relaxation. Swanpool beach is popular with families, with a beach café and watersport hire and tuition. The bustling resort of Falmouth home to the National Maritime Museum is a 10 minute drive where there is lots on offer for all ages and interests. The town is packed with a vibrant mix of cafes and restaurants, shops and galleries. The North Helford region is a quintessential destination for visitors its mix of woodland, creeks and historic villages making it a unique destination to explore. Highly recommended for families is the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah, with 4 miles of footpath cascading down to their very own beach on the Helford River, a perfect spot for a summer picnic. Breeze Cottage is an ideal choice for the whole family including the family dog and perfect for exploring at any time of year.
The town of Falmouth has the third largest natural harbour in the world, along with winding streets, beaches, pubs, shops, an art gallery and the National Maritime Museum. However, the most popular attraction in Falmouth is Pendenis Castle, which was built by Henry viii. Close by is the town of St Mawes, which is surrounded by rocky coves, sandy beaches and lovely countryside, and can be accessed by car or passenger ferry. Falmouth is also close to many attractions, villages and towns that will suit all tastes.
