Tops'l Cottage is a fantastic base from which to explore Falmouth, a 5 minute walk takes you to the town centre with some amazing restaurants, art galleries and shops. For seaside fun, Gyllingvase, Swanpool and Maenporth beaches can all be reached within a very short drive. Hop on the ferry to St Mawes and the Roseland beyond, or jump on the train to Truro from the nearby station or explore the nearby sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. The Helford River with secret river inlets and the Lizard Peninsula, with scenic coves set against dramatic granite cliffs are within easy reach by car; Kynance Cove is breathtaking and will not disappoint!
