The National Trust gardens at Trelissick and the watersports centre at Loe Beach are within easy reach as is the King Harry Ferry for access to the beaches on the Roseland Peninsula.

Cycles can be hired for the Mineral Tramways Path to the north coast harbour of Portreath and local shops and post offices are a 5 minutes drive. With Truro only a few miles in one direction and Falmouth and Mylor in the other, Sunnyside is conveniently situated for beaches, boating and shopping.
