For a true taste of Cornwall, head to The Lost Gardens of Heligan (13 miles) to explore the not long uncovered grounds which have been brought back to life and offer endless hours of intrigue as you traipse through the woodland pathways and rope bridges. Along the coastline from Fowey, you’ll find a whole host of blissful beaches which can be reached on foot by taking the South West Coast Path Trail including Polridmouth Cove (3 miles).
