After taking advantage of the off-road parking on offer, you will be greeted by a lovely front decked area, ideal for relaxing, dining alfresco or savouring your morning coffee as you plan the day ahead. The open-plan living area features a fully-equipped kitchen where the chef of the group can conjure up tasty dishes, ready for the whole family to enjoy at the dining table for four.

Afterwards, make your way through to the inviting sitting area, where you can sink back into the sofas and select a much-loved film on the TV as the evening’s entertainment. A stylish shower room is on hand for freshening up, along with three tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double ideal for couples, and two charming twins. The nearest beach is Readymoney Cove, is just two miles away and a gorgeous, southeast-facing beach, ideal for exploring and relaxing. Another beautiful walk in the area is the National Trust's Fowey Hall Walk, which is recognised for its beautiful scenery, woods, and views of Fowey's harbour.

Fowey itself is a delightful day trip, with a variety of cafés and stores to enjoy, which can be reached by a ferry just a mile from the lodge. Closer to home, you can unwind with dinner and a few drinks at the Old Ferry Inn pub. Penmarlam Lodge Retreat 17 is a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway in Cornwall.

Bodinnick, a charming riverfront community in south-east Cornwall, is situated near to Mixtow and Pont on the bank of the River Fowey. Bodinnick is a wonderful starting point from which to explore and take in the wonders of Cornwall because it is home to the quaint bar The Old Ferry Inn and a gorgeous Methodist Church. It is the perfect place to take in the breathtaking views of the Polperro Heritage Coast and is close to a number of beautiful beaches, such as Readymoney Cove, Polridmouth Cove, and Menabilly Beach. There are also numerous opportunities for walking, hiking, and cycling within the Tamar Valley aonb, which is a major draw for nature lovers. You'll never run out of things to see or do if you travel to Fowey, where you can find the Fowey Aquarium and the National Trust-owned Fowey Estuary, or farther afield to find the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens Heligan, and Golitha Falls!
